Tribute to popular Galbally woman Rose Murphy

A GAA club in Galbally has paid tribute to one of its most popular supporters – Rose Murphy – who died this week.

“Nothing however could have prepared us for the shocking news that broke shortly after 9am this morning (Tuesday) when we learned of the sudden passing of Rose Murphy, one of our most loyal supporters and very active club member,” said a spokesperson for Galbally Pearses in a social media post.

“Rose was a real bundle of energy when she got going and the old saying that “she wouldn’t see you in her road when something needed doing” was most applicable.
